We human beings have the ability to rationalize our experiences. I wonder, what is the ultimate ‘Right’ ‘and Truth’. What we think ‘Right’ sometimes is projected as the opposite, so I choose to place myself at the thin layer between the binaries, as an observer of the drama being played. The personified forms of turtles, donkeys, lions and many other enact the ‘sensible’ human beings, creating a play whether they are themselves or not.
My works are inspired by traditions of fables, folktales, and narratives from around the world. The visual imageries I make are a result of dialogues between my day to day experiences and my understanding. Here, present between the binaries as an artist, I am actively engaged in the process of actions and reactions, not making any solutions or preaching any morals, but with many questions there to find answers.
